The consumer pensions category is always competitive, and it was the same again this time. After the initial scoring two journalists were clear of the rest of the shortlist and, in the end, Sara Benwell took the prize.
“Sara has a passion for helping readers with their retirement outcomes, reaching across age groups and demographics,” one judge commented. Her work has “a clear social purpose with a very information approach”, said another.
