The consumer pensions category shortlist was very strong this year and the judges found it hard to select a winner. Eventually, they agreed Telegraph Media Group’s Lauren Almeida should receive the trophy.
“Excellent pieces on topical issues,” commented one judge. “The piece about the impact of inflation on the difference in value of public sector and private pensions was of particular note – this gap is an issue which is not discussed enough,” said another.
