This year’s Rising Star PR Professional of the Year goes to Quilter’s Megan Crookes, following a round of judging and a vote by financial journalists.
Megan only joined Quilter in 2021, having never previously worked within financial services. In the short time she has been at Quilter, she has ensured the successful development of experts’ reputations as trusted spokespeople within their fields, showcasing their expertise and increasing their presence in related press.
The judges were impressed by Megan’s “targeted and determined approach and the clear and significant results it delivered”, observing “the jump in press mentions for just one spokesperson is huge and clearly the result of a lot of effort which has reaped rewards. Megan also clearly appreciates the power of FOIs to gain press coverage.”
“It's exciting to see what else she may achieve in the coming years,” commented one judge.
