From the first round of scoring, one name stood out from the five journalists on the original shortlist. Nothing changed during the second phase of decision-making to determine the winner in this category, so it’s a case of many congratulations to Insurance Post’s Jen Frost.
According to one judge, she deserved to win for “submitting some great exclusives”. “This was an outstanding entry, full of well-researched and well backed-up scoops,” a second judge added. “Jen’s a worthy winner. The story about an insurance company’s leaked emails stood out especially for me; this was an astonishing read,” a third judge commented.
