Rising Star PR Professional of the Year

Winner: Myron Jobson, interactive investor

Congratulations to Myron, a former award-winning financial journalist who’s new to PR but has already made a significant contribution to help enhance the media profile of interactive investor.

This was most evident in creating and delivering the company’s Great British Retirement Survey report, an initiative Jobson referred to as a “colossal task” in his submission. The report offered fresh and comprehensive insights from a sample of 10,000 UK adults into the attitudes, expectations and fears of those in or approaching retirement.

“I helped rationalise the raw data from the research and leveraged my writing skills and knowledge of pensions to draft the 40-page thought-leadership report, including infographics to showcase the data and policy proposals resulting from the findings,” Myron explained. Most notably, the Financial Times discussed the research as part of its FT Money Show podcast and as a lead feature,” he added.

Highly Commended: Sandy Downs, Teamspirit

Commiserations to Sandy who was just pipped at the post for top honours this year. She only burst on to the Teamspirit scene as an account executive in 2017. But two promotions later, Sandy’s an account manager and lead contact for some of the business’s largest accounts. A strong team player, she embodies the company’s values with an attitude to be the “best she can be” at all times.
