Broadcast Journalist of the Year (including all multimedia)

Simoney Kyriakou, FT Adviser, collects the trophy on behalf of Claer Barrett, Financial Times, from Mike Ambery, Retirement Savings Director at Standard Life and Awards host Rachel Parris.

WINNER:

Claer Barrett, Financial Times

This popular category presented judges with a strong shortlist to consider, all potential winners. One journalist kept coming out ahead of the rest, however, and a consensus quickly emerged, with judges agreeing on Claer Barrett from the Financial Times as a worthy winner.

Impressed with the range of her submission and “innovative work across the year”, judges welcomed Claer’s “raw enthusiasm”, with her Money Clinic podcast The financial advice we'd give to Barbie, standing out in particular as “inventive”.
