Broadcast Journalist of the Year (including podcasts)

Felicity Hannah, BBC Money Box & Wake Up to Money, collects her trophy from Jonathan Goodstone, PR Specialist, Europe at Vanguard and awards host Kerry Godliman

Winner: Felicity Hannah, BBC Money Box and Wake up to Money

The judges for this category managed to reduce the initial shortlist of five journalists to a more manageable duo after the first wave of scoring which is when the really serious deliberations began. A consensus quickly emerged, so many congratulations to Felicity Hannah who scoops the honours for 2022, her third win in a row.

“Felicity’s entry stood out for taking on personal finance/money issues in a very human way,” said one judge. Her work is “amazingly polished and professional, while also really interesting”, commented another.
