Votes from the financial journalist community decide the winners of all our PR and communications awards and so hearty congratulations go to Hargreaves Lansdown’s Sarah Coles.
In what was a huge year for experts covering the cost-of-living crisis, Sarah established herself as a leading voice in this space, delivering comment to a vast variety of financial journalists and titles. She demonstrated breadth of knowledge to tackle huge changes, expertise to crunch the numbers, skill to explain complexities and the speed to turn it around in minutes – all invaluable to journalists up against a deadline. She also found the time to write about issues she felt particularly strongly about, including financial abuse.
“Sarah’s work rate in 2022 was extraordinary, delivering expert opinion to journalists across the board. Her personal column sharing her experience of financial abuse was brave and compelling, receiving a great response from readers,” remarked one judge.
