The judging panel praised Hannah’s “skills as a journalist and natural empathy”, highlighting her entry for “showcasing a strong commitment to impactful journalism, often uncovering systemic issues enabling her to drive change through her investigative reporting”. Particularly impressed by her use of case studies, one judge remarked upon Hannah’s “understanding of her readership and the importance she places on sharing critical stories in an unvarnished and accessible manner”.
