Mortgage Journalist of the Year is always a competitive consumer category, and this year was no different. The first round of judging placed a pair of journalists ahead of the rest, however, a consensus quickly emerged, with judges agreeing on Sam Partington as a worthy winner.
Judges were impressed by her “forensic” approach, commenting on how “she digs and unearths from the inside out”. “Her content is always ahead of the curve, she has an envious contacts book, her stories keep you engaged and they're interesting as well as enlightening,” another remarked.
