Voicing praise for Laura’s skill at reaching her audience with a “well-judged use of case studies backed up with powerful storytelling”, judges summed up her entries as “a very well-balanced range of stories highlighting that readers on low incomes or pensions need good advice and help”.

Judges were keen to hand a Highly Commended to Moira O’Neill in this category, describing her entries as “insightful, practical and explanatory pieces for an expert audience”.
