COMMENTATOR OF THE YEAR
New Model Adviser's Editor Will Robins collects his Award from Headlinemoney's Head of Content Claire Beard and Awards Host Marcus Brigstocke
WINNER: WILL ROBINS, NEW MODEL ADVISER
Presented with a high-calibre shortlist from which to choose a winner, this category took the judging panel a while to resolve as after the first round of scoring there wasn’t much in it. The category covers both B2B and Consumer comment and this time New Model Adviser’s Will Robins takes the trophy.
As one judge put it: “In my experience, it's more difficult writing comment pieces for a professional/B2B audience than it is for more a general consumer audience.” “Will’s entry stood out with a good range of topics, great writing and a sense of personality,” another noted.
HIGHLY COMMENDED: RUTH SUNDERLAND, DAILY MAIL
Commiserations to the Daily Mail’s Ruth Sunderland, who came so close this time. Ruth’s “huge knowledge and experience is revealed along with strong analysis and a highly attractive, articulate writing style”, commented one judge.
