WINNER:
Moira O’Neill, Financial Times Money
As always, Headlinemoney’s Journalist of the Year is a winner who’s done something that little bit extra to stand out from all the other superb category winners and shortlisted journalists.
This year, our congratulations go to Moira O’Neill, making the night her own by taking home the trophy for Protection Journalist of the Year, earning two Highly Commended places and making it to the shortlist in no less than five categories.
Across multiple judging panels, Moira’s work was praised as having “outstanding quality with balance and authority”. Judges were impressed by her ability to “liven things up with interesting or humorous angles and a bright and breezy style”. As one judge explained, “she writes original stories that are always readable, stuffed full of information and drill down in depth with a lightness of touch”.
Congratulations Moira!
