During judging one journalist quickly emerged as the winner from our shortlist of five entries. Many congratulations to Ruby Hinchliffe of FTAdviser, whose submissions were judged to be “head and shoulders above the other entries in this category”.
One judge commented that Ruby’s entry had a “good variety of stories which covered lines I had not seen elsewhere”. Ruby has an “engaging writing style” and demonstrates “good use of experts to complement rather than guide pieces”, said another.
